The challenge facing any trade show is above all to keep up with the times, while remaining true to the image of a market that can evolve very quickly, especially when it comes to a market as technological and innovative as that of drones!
And it's not just technology that's evolving fast in this market, but also usage. And one leads to the other.
The last two years have been marked by a shifting and intense geopolitical context, which has seen players move from civil to dual-use UAVs, and from dual-use UAVs to 100% defense UAVs. The funds allocated by private and institutional players have greatly contributed to the emergence of new disruptive technologies, but also more reactive ones for the mass production of vectors.
As a result, the drone industry is speeding up and cutting corners to meet urgent operational needs and prepare for all eventualities. In addition to this overall situation, the drone industry is continuing to mature, as we already noted in 2023. Indeed, many of the players from previous editions have joined forces to create ever more robust companies. In concrete terms, this meant that the number of exhibitors remained stable, as we were still in the process of conquering new markets, but the exhibitors were bigger.
UAV SHOW 2025 responds to these changing circumstances by becoming the Dual Drone Show, and doesn't forget to look ahead, once again this year reserving a place for Urban Air Mobility with our partner Bordeaux Airport, for a day of flight demonstrations on the platform.
This will be an opportunity for all exhibitors to meet customers from the civil and defense sectors.
We look forward to seeing you at the Palais des Congrès and along the runways of Bordeaux Airport.
