"Inaugurated in 2021, the Transport Innovation Agency (AIT) is a catalyst for innovation in the transport sector. Its aim is to federate initiatives, bring together economic players and representatives of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, and foster a culture of open innovation. The AIT is an organisation supported by the Ministry of Transport, co-directed by the Directorate-General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility (DGITM) and the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation (DGAC), in conjunction with the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA). It runs the propulse programme, which supports and accelerates innovative projects. The third edition of this programme is currently underway (applications open until 13/10), with 3 calls for projects: Sustainable Transport, Data Sharing and Intermodality - Multimodality.
