How did Innov'ATM come about?
Stéphane Bascobert and Amine Karrray: "We are former colleagues and each have extensive expertise in the aerospace subsidiary and in engineering. In 2014, we decided to join forces to create Innov'ATM. Our ambition: to offer innovative products and services for air traffic management (ATM). We design innovative solutions to ensure airspace safety".
Since 2017, following the success of our ATM projects, we have set ourselves the goal of extending our skills to drone air traffic management (UTM). Today, Innov'ATM is positioned as a major player in the drone ecosystem, providing solutions that enable manned and unmanned aircraft to navigate airspace safely.
Can you tell us about your DroneKeeper platform?
DroneKeeper is an innovative fleet management and traffic tracking application on the market. A collaborative platform for remote pilots and fleet managers that simplifies the process of planning, reviewing and tracking drone missions.
It enables fleet managers to monitor team missions and compliance, as well as traffic in real time. For remote pilots, DroneKeeper is an essential tool for saving time and simplifying procedures for obtaining flight authorizations.
Why are you taking part in UAV SHOW? Is it your first time?
This is Innov'ATM's third time at the show. It's a new opportunity for us to present DroneKeeper and its new features. It's also an opportunity to meet professional pilots and companies using drones in the construction, real estate, agriculture, media and surveillance sectors, and to show how DroneKeeper can make their operations easier and safer.
What is your position on the new U-space regulations?
We're part of the evolution of airspace, and we're convinced that drones represent a huge opportunity for various industries with multiple use cases. This new regulation will enable the creation and management of U-spaces to guarantee the safe insertion of drones. We therefore have a crucial role to play, providing several U-space services that comply with European regulations to ensure multiple, recurring operations. The use of drones for medical purposes is one of the first operations supported by the creation of U-space. Innov'ATM, in partnership with other companies in the drone sector, is involved in several projects to demonstrate that medical delivery by drone is a reliable, safe, fast and environmentally-friendly alternative.
